Engaging with children in slums through storytelling, arts, crafts, and games.
On March 30, 2025, as part of the Bakul Day of Service, Inara Foundation volunteers engaged with children across Hatiasuni and Ishaneswar slums, contributing to a larger initiative that reached over 3,000 children across 20 slum areas. Through storytelling, arts and crafts, and games, our volunteers created a joyful and engaging environment that fostered creativity, learning, and connection. The initiative continued on September 21, when our volunteers once again joined hands for the Day of Service, visiting the Ishaneswar and Dhirukuti slums.
They brought the same energy, warmth, and dedication to connect with the children and make the day truly memorable. From making colorful crafts to sharing stories and listening to theirs, volunteers and children bonded beautifully, turning simple moments into lasting memories. At the heart of this initiative is the Bakul Foundation, a driving force for meaningful community service.
Their commitment to creating spaces of learning and happiness made this collaboration possible, and we are deeply grateful for the trust they have placed in the Inara Foundation. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the volunteers of both Bakul and Inara. It is through such compassionate hands and hearts that real change begins.
True to its name, the Day of Service became a day of giving of time, effort and love, bringing smiles to young faces and nurturing bright, curious minds.
This project is part of Inara Foundation's commitment to creating lasting positive change. Through dedicated volunteers and generous supporters, we touch lives and spread compassion.
